Anyone else ready for football?

I have to admit it!
I am ready for football season to start! To me football is like a religion! On game days, I do laundry just so I have an excuse to sit in front of the TV without feeling lazy! Sundays seem so lonely without brats, a cold beer (or two if the game is exciting) and ignoring the cell phone during the game! I even promised to watch the Colts again this season, as competitors of course, but I have to see how they fair before the big game in November with the Patriots. I looked online to buy tickets for that game and boy what a shock! I could eat for an entire month and a half on those ticket prices. I keep telling myself that even though I would love to watch Brady, Welker, Bruschi, Vrabel and Moss in person and it would be totally worth it but I have to be reasonable! I even converted my dear friend into watching the Pats games with me last season and totally embarrassed myself too! My favorite position is standing in front of the TV with my arms crossed in front of my body as amour (like Belichick). Then you hear me scream, jump up and down, point fingers and say things that I shouldn't as if the team could hear me! I know that the summer has just officially started but I don't watch baseball unless it is the Yankees and then again I miss most of those games anyway! Is there anyone else who is ready for a little football action???? Go Patriots!!! The mighty red, white and blue!!! And here is a shout out to my die hard Colts friend (you know who you are)……It's the big "hoorah" for you! Here's to Melissa...go Packers! P.S. and if you are curious I do have a dog named "Brady" and he is just as cute but doesn't make that kind of cash! ME TOO!Never been a die hard football fan but my home team(the cain'ts) are finally showing some promise after all these years.I'll be keeping all appendages crossed and hopes high.(plus a lot of soothing libations for any reason good or bad ,this is the "Big Easy" you know) I wish you luck with your Pats.
Foot ball is the only time I read the Sports section of a paper. I enjoy watching NASCAR but I don't really get so into it that I have to pour over commentary or rumors or whatever concerning it. I watch the race (Sometimes just the end of the race) and I'm happy. Go Smoke. Go Dale.
Football is another story. I can sit and watch the NFL network and hang on every word. I skim the sports page for any mention of football and read the entire article without fail. This love only extends to the NFL though. I can watch a colledge football game but, like NASCAR, It ends there. To me the NFL is serious business and waiting for the new season to start is pure agony.
Oh. and GO COLTS! GIANTS! COWBOYS! In that order.
