  • I wonder what the costs would be if the medical providers didn't have to:

    Pay malpractice insurance

    Pay for government compliance

    Pay for insurance claims filers

    Pay for employees to witness the service provider to reduce the risk of claims of abuse

    Practice "defensive medicine" to make sure they didn't miss something esoteric

    Pay for multi hundred thousand dollar education loans

    and pay for heaven knows what else.

    Me thinks me smells the work of lawyers at hand.
