  • God works in mysterious ways. Sometimes He introduces you to the person He knows you will be happy with early in life. For others, He has different plans, He puts them through a trial period. His plan for me included a trial period of twenty-five years before He sent an angel to stand beside me.

But, always remember that no matter what God sends your way, it is never more than what you and God can handle.

  • I am sorry if my comment yesterday embarrassed you, but please allow this to be published so people will not be misled. Annette Funicello is alive, though very ill with MS.

  • I go to Clay County some in my dream life. Was happy to get a compliment this year about a sermon I preached there in 1982 or 1983. I did like the flatness there, made me think of the ocean and of eternity.

Sent a birthday greeting last night to an acquaintance who was born on the day that you became a married man--45 years ago today.

Best wishes and prayers for your past, present, and future. The past is not over if you are still ruminating on it and using your ruminations to chart your future.
