  • While those who wrote various parts of the Bible may have simplified things due to they not being scientists, those "thingies" were made by God IMHO. Doesn't really matter how long it actually took or in what order but something or someone all powerful started it all.

Why there has to be a division between those trying to explain things scientifically and those who believe that God is responsible I'll never figure out. If you take the message of the Bible and understand that those who wrote it may not have gotten every scientific detail correct [as the words were written by men and not by God after all] you can accept both the scientific theory and the Message.

I always compare the Genesis story from the Bible to gestation [pregnancies]. If you look at a little embryo it looks like a little tadpole thingy. Doesn't matter if it's a person or a puppy. Doesn't matter if it takes 9 months or 62 days. It's a miracle none the less. It's the same with the creation/evolution of our world. Either explanation is truly a miracle that had to have been directed by the hand of God. I don't care how long it took or how it actually was accomplished.

It's just that we know just a little more science than those who wrote the Bible...and a LOT less than God.

    Have a good evening
