You can vote however you like!!!Posted Monday, November 3, 2008, at 2:45 PM
Over the weekend, my sister and I drove home to Crawfordsville to vote. What is usually a peaceful hour drive turned into a minor debate. (I should be lucky it was only minor, because Samantha and I can fight!) We both kept our rational heads and were able to discuss politics with a leveler head than adults that are twice our age.
My sister, who has never had a real interest in politics, would rather be hanging out with her girlfriends at the mall on Election Day, had formed opinions views and beliefs on who the next president of the United States should be. I was astounded, amazed, and proud of my sister. She took an interest in the world around her and formed opinions. Even though I don't agree with all of them I am still happy that she has them and that she voted. My brother will be voting in his first election tomorrow. Samantha and I knew whom we would vote for, but David still doesn't know. I've noticed many people still don't know who would be the best man for the job. I encouraged my brother to look at both sides and form his opinions that way, I wish him and all the other voters the best of luck tomorrow. Remember, even if the lines are long, it will be worth it in the end. This is something that I saw on TV and I thought to share with everyone. You can vote however you like!!! This was soooo cute, wish I could dance half as good.
I think this is a very exciting election. So many first! I am happy to see people talking politics. We are so blessed to have choices and to be able to vote!
