  • Don't understand any of it. Do know I heard a "public service announcement" about how many traffic lights there are in America which was produced from the budget of the Census Bureau; so maybe there's room for cutting somewhere?

  • How about this for proposed cuts?

    1. No foreign aid to anyone unless they are an ally under threat

    2. Eliminate the departments of energy, education, and labor

    3. Privatize public broadcasting and the National Endowment for the Arts

    4. Suspend all research grants and grants to private business and individuals (excluding education grants)

    5. Eliminate all socialized medicine except poor relief

    6. Sell all financial instruments held by the government into the private sector (excluding national gold, silver, copper, and emergency energy reserves.)

    7. Sell large portions of federally owned land to the private sector which will pay property tax, mineral royalties, and otherwise put it into productive economic use.
