Tooting my Own Horn

Forbes online ran an article on Aug. 8, 2011 entitled "U.S. Dollar the Next Show to Drop." Interestingly, quite a bit of the content in that article is also found in my June 3, 2011, article "Not Worth a Continental."

It would never be possible to ever know if my article was used as a source or if we had the same background knowledge of history and did the same or similar research. The possibilities do tickle the ego.

I don't believe I ever mentioned it in print, but my July 23, 2011, article, "The Accidental Birther or Born in the U.S.A.?" went national when it was picked up by either Newsmax.com or WorldNetDaily.com, I can't remember which.

Perhaps I have garnered a few fans outside of our community.

Being a bit under the weather at the moment, thinking of the possibility lifts my spirits. Surely one of the local readers will keep me humble before I start thinking I have done something worth bragging about.
