  • If only more people would read the New Testament. Yes, the Biblical Goaspel(Any of the 4 will do, but Matthew's is the first) and get a "grip" when Jesus was criticized by Judas Iscariot, who was outraged and could have helped "the poor" selleing the jar of oils, instead to allowe Mary Magdalene to anoint Him with very expensive perfume oils, which in those days was worth the equivalent of anyone's 1 year wages. And He said in not so many word, that "the poor" they will always have, and He was with them for a little while longer. Moral of the story you cannot help the poor indefinatly...."give them the means" (good earning jobs) to sustain themselves and they may help others how to achive it.Today, it's easier to get a hand out. It was always given, when asked, now seem you don't have to ask.... and just give, give and give again! That's where we roll into "ENTITLEMENTS"...which will bring this society down, at a certain point!
