  • Nicely said Steve. Although I dare say, you might ruffle a few feathers with this one. I do admire your conviction and courage to stand up for what you truly believe in, with the comprehension, there isn't a utopia in any of the political affiliations.

  • Nice article. I appreciate getting to know you through this article.

I was not aware that the local party meetings that we need to inquire to new faces "Never, at any time, did anyone approach us asking why we were there, what our motives were. "

Being a member of the local GOP, I appreciate knowing what I need to ask new faces, instead of just assuming that someone is there of their own free will, to be with politically like minded people, and to help support those that choose to run for office. Thank you, and I hope that you will again frequent the local GOP, on the 21st, at 6:30. Consider this an invitation.

  • ConservativeDad: When I said "Never, at any time, did anyone approach us asking why we were there, what our motives were.", what I meant was the warm welcome we DID receive, no questions asked. Now, if I kew who you were, I'd look you up on the 21st. Your confidentialty will be respected. We'll be there.

  • Steve: When you get done with the GOP meeting, why don't you drive around town and pick up the rest of your campaign signs! You seem to be the only candidate to still have signs scattered all over town.

  • open minded: The signs are down.

PomC: I thought it over and decided out of respect for my Republican opponent, I would not attend this meeting. However, I have been to past meetings and will attend again.

  • So Mr Lamb must we all convert to your way of thinking, to be accepted in your christian utopia? Where do the rest of us fit in?

  • A liberal, by definition is a bleeding heart, a sentimental fool, a softy and a sympathizer. Republicans are more conservative; once again by definition, alert, careful, controlled, guarded, precautious, safe, watchful, wise and seem more appealing to the Christian morals of society. The old adage of "live and let live" should be over. I believe fewer convicted people would be released if more Republicans were judges.

Let's look a minute at national leaders. Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, Dwight Eisenhower and Jimmy Carter were all Christian presidents. All but Carter were Republican. Carter lasted one term. Was he too Christian for America? I think so. Where is America headed now; wars, abortions, welfare classes? The ACLU founding members were followers of Joseph Stalin (http://amerpundit.com/2011/01/05/aclu-founders-fans-stalin/). If the ACLU isn't bleeding hearts, I don't know who is. Our current president is Democrat, openly supporting abortion and opposing parental knowledge of allowing minors to get abortions in other states. Republicans and Democrats contrast a lot! lol Hogwash No wonder the dems booted your bigoted ,racist antisemitic rear end shame on you and you call yourself a community leader??? Lead by example!
