An homemade chocolate treat for the unofficial holiday

In celebration of Monday being the unofficial holiday National Milk Chocolate Day, I thought I'd post a recipe for homemade chocolate milk:
Place a tall 12-ounce or bigger glass to chill in the freezer while you make your homemade chocolate sauce. In a microwavable coffee cup, stir 1-ounce of water, 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of quality blend cocoa powder, 2 and 1/2 tablespoons of sugar and a teaspoon (your taste buds will tell you how much to use) of instant coffee until it dissolves before placing the cup in a microwave for 30 seconds. Stir again before adding to 11-ounces of whole milk poured into that chilled glass from the freezer, reserving a bit of the chocolate sauce to drizzle on top of a whip cream dollop. Use a straw to make the tasty drink last so that you can enjoy a great holiday. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |
