  • LOL...........will wonders never cease? Eggs that time themselves from the Brits.........LOL! I wonder if they also indicate when they are overcooked......hopefully long before the pan boils dry.

  • Wonderful! The egg salad sounds great! Your mom's cookin' sounds like my aunt Jean's -she always made charcoal'd hambugers- they tasted like lumps of charcoal! Here's a holiday recipe you might like: Take an equal # of cans of sweetened condensed milk & pints of whipping cream (you can use cool whip!) submerge the cans of milk in gently boilin water for 4 hours (don't let the water boil away or the cans will explode!) Cool the resulting CARAMEL SAUCE, fold together with the whipped whatever, toss in some maraschino cherries 'n' chopped almonds.... It's like eating a candy bar!!!!
