A great Christmas indeed

Hopefully everyone was able to have a safe and Merry Christmas. I know I did.

I was able to spend time with wonderful friends and even visit with some of my family, albeit not necessarily on Christmas itself, but the weekend before.

The presents were relatively small in number, but that's not the point of Christmas to me.

For me, I receive the most joy out of being around people that make me laugh and that I have fun around.

This was only my second Christmas since I moved here from Texas, but I still keep in good contact with my family and friends back home.

I admit, I did get a little down because I missed them, but knowing they are happy made me feel better.

Even if there had been no gifts to open, it still would rate as one of my most memorable Christmases ever.

I hope every one else was able to feel so lucky and I want to wish you all a happy and fulfilling 2008.
