The pendulum of insanity continues to sway

The craziness continues!
However, after all that has taken place this year in both college and professional football, is anyone truly surprised with the Giants "upset" victory over the Packers. I guess, in a way, I both correctly and incorrectly picked the winner of the game at the same time. I picked the Packers to win, but must have jinxed them in one of my blogs by pointing out the bad luck of "Number Two" teams this year (Sorry Melinda). But to keep constant with the way the season has gone, I am picking the Giants to defeat the Patriots (I admit, in part because I hate the Pats) in the Super Bowl. It would be fitting in a way. Last year, Peyton Manning was hearing the criticism of not being able to win a big game, yet went on to win the Super Bowl. Now this year, rumors were swirling that it may be time for a quarterback change in New York with Eli playing inconsistently. Two years, two Mannings, two playoff wins over the Patriots and two Super Bowl victories. Sounds pretty good to me. |
