A random, sarcastic thought

The now former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer resigned last week because of his involvement in a sex scandal.

About 10 years ago, President Bill Clinton was involved in a sex scandal of his own, although, he was able to "serve" the rest of his term.

What do these two events have in common you might wonder?

On both occasions, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose dramatically.

It is a bit ironic that a high government official; "explodes" into the news for an unsavory act, yet the economy improves.

You would have to think that, subconsciously, many men who realize this correlation have it "pop" into their minds that they would like to have the job of helping the economy "grow" because of their sex life.

Realistically, this has to be a more than your normal coincidence.

But it makes it "exciting" to dream that way isn't it?

By the way, aren't sarcasm and euphemisms fun to use?
