Racing mind moving forward

With work keeping me busy, as always, and the price of everything going up, my mind just never seems to quiet down.

On top of that, allergy season is kicking me a good one.

Itchy eyes and a runny nose have been plaguing me the past few days, which hasn't helped at all.

I am looking forward to June though.

My birthday is coming up and my parents are making the haul up here to visit me and the rest of the family.

I'm not quite sure how much, if any, time I will get to spend with them, but I figure I should be able to get my dad his Father's Day gift and they'll get to see the gift from their second anniversary: me.

That's right, I was born on my parent's wedding anniversary. The funny thing is, I was also my dad's Father's Day gift that year as well, and I have yet to come across anyone else who has had that sort of timing.

In a way, I have been going about life the same way lately; trying to take care of multiple things in one trip.

With things as hectic and crazy as ever, it will be nice to find a few minutes to sit down, relax and see my parents.
