This week, the editor was gone and I was "the man," if you want to call it that.

I've done this a few times before, and I have no problem with it.

I enjoy designing the paper.

Although, it does make time move slowly when you are having to do your job and squeeze in the duties of the boss at the same time.

Even when the editor is here, I still have the main design duties three days a week.

However, it is different because the editor and I work well with each other and place stories on pages to help lighten the load a little.

I'm looking forward to this weekend. I'll have the chance to sit back a bit, enjoy a little TV and prepare for the week ahead.
