A moronic act

A quick definition for you.

Looking up "moronic" on the Internet, one can find this as a definition:

1. A stupid person; a dolt, and

2. Psychology A person of mild mental retardation having a mental age of from 7 to 12 years and generally having communication and social skills enabling some degree of academic or vocational education. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive.

I'm pretty sure this applies to the moronic act that took place Thursday afternoon on Harmony Road.

It doesn't matter how many people were involved. What matters is that idiots decided to point some type of weapon (a gun in this case) at a school and pull the trigger.

This -- in my definition -- is a "moronic" act.

Whoever did this, and as stated above, it doesn't really matter, is in fact, a moron.

This person or persons were either not thinking straight or do not have the capability to think straight.

Anyone with a conscious should be aware that pointing a weapon at anything, let alone pulling a trigger at a school, is just flat-out stupid.

Children. People, we're talking about children here.

Children could have been in that room at the time these "morons" or "moron" decided that a joyride with a high-caliber weapon pointing at whatever -- well, it just seemed like fun.

Not fun. Not cool. Not smart.

Just plain stupid.

Consequences people. Consequences.

People have to think about the consequences before they take action in any facet of life.

Whoever did this was not thinking.

And that makes the act "moronic."

I could not agree with you more! What a sad state of life that this happened in our "little peaceful heartland" home

I bet they did their parents proud. To scare little ones... and for what? Nothing but giving those poor kids a fright. To the 2 of you that decided to make a "smart" choice to shoot up a school, did you sleep well last night? Do you have little ones, brothers or sisters or children? If so, how would you feel about this shooting? Oh, wait, you don't care about anyone or you wouldn't have done this. You both are a bunch of idiots! No doubt about it...

Kinda makes me wanna build a house on a 50 or 100 acre lot and put up barbed wire fence all around. I don't care what we think, in today's world none of us are too safe it seems. :(
