I managed to take a few days off prior to Tuesday's election and was able to get a few extra winks of sleep.

Sleep has not been one of my friends lately. I haven't really gotten a lot of it late.

But it was nice to sleep in for a few days and get some R and R, so to speak.

I must admit, however, it was strange waking up in the morning and not having anything to do or deal with.

It was different. I don't take a lot of vacation to begin with, but when I do, by the third or fourth day, I'm usually ready to get back to work.

Anyway, it's going to be a busy week. An election is right around the corner and I'm finally going to be moving back to Brazil.

I'm looking forward to both.

I lived here for 10 years prior to March of this year, so it will be nice to be back.
