One year older. Hopefully one year wiser

I won't say celebrated a birthday, because there wasn't much celebration.

It was a good day, however.

It was rather relaxing. A fitting end to a day at work.

My birthday falls on or around Memorial Day each year. It really isn't so bad.

I've had more than 30. I'm not sure if I should say exactly how many, but it really doesn't matter.

I spent the evening with my fiance. She had a few gifts for me, which was very nice.

I especially liked the Colts' jersey she purchased for me.

When we met, she told me she had a few requirements regarding anyone she may date.

One of them was they "had" to be a Colts' fan, which I am not.

However, I admire her persistence. I've been a long-time Minnesota Viking fan, but the more and more I spend time with her, it appears my wall is crumbling.

As she told me Tuesday, when I opened the Colts' jersey gift, now I have something to wear when we go to see the Colts.

And it fits, too.
