This weekend marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life.

My fiance and I will be closing on a home today and have made plans to move in to the house this weekend.

To be honest, I'm a little nervous. This is not the same as moving away from home or moving into a new apartment.

This is moving into a house! With a mortgage!

It's quite different.

But it's exciting all at the same time.

I'll be taking the next week off attempting to get settled, painting a couple of rooms, moving things around, mowing (more than likely), buying a refrigerator, etc.

It's going to be a busy week.

But it's going to be fun and exciting.

I practically have everything packed and ready to go out of my current digs. Hopefully, everything will move according to plan.

Hopefully.

It really doesn't matter, though. That is, if the moving goes according to plan.

All that really matters is that I'll be with my fiance, we'll be starting the life.

I'm looking forward to it.
