Back to the grindPosted Thursday, August 28, 2008, at 7:32 PM
So, after close to a full week back after working harder than I thought I would, I finally feel more at ease here in the office.
Typically, it takes me a good four days to get back into a swing after taking time off. But this time, it was different. I spent the entire last week working on a new home my fiance and I recently purchased. It's a great home and most people seem to already know where it is since they knew the previous owners, who are wonderful people by the way. Anyway, I've taken time off before and usually, I find myself lounging around, really doing nothing. But this was real work. Wow. I was tired every day and I was waking up before I would to actually go to work. It was a very long week. But it's going to be worth it. We now have a home. But I'm glad to get back to work. I enjoy pecking on the keyboard, fielding phone calls, surfing local news websites, etc. That's a lot of fun too. But it's no longer the entire life. However, I enjoy taking your calls and your e-mails, etc. Again, if you have any questions or concerns, or anything you want to tell us, don't hesitate. Someone is always here. That's what we're here for after all. To serve you, the public. And we enjoy it. Comments Showing most recent comments first [Show in chronological order instead] |

Jason, Congratulations on your engagement and welcome to the world of home ownership, an experience where there is always something to be done or fixed. Best Wishes!
