He speaks -- they listen. But why?Posted Monday, February 20, 2012, at 6:47 PM
Recently, "The Donald" spoke.
And apparently, some people are listening. During a Michigan radio interview Monday, Donald Trump basically said Republican Presidential candidate Rick Santorum would be the perfect Christmas gift for the Democrats. Trump also alluded to the possibility of a third-party run if his endorsed candidate, Mitt Romney, did not win the Republican nomination. The story can be viewed probably everywhere because for some reason, when Trump speaks, people listen. Perhaps that saying should be, "When Trump speaks, TOO many people listen." Honestly, why does this guy's opinion matter regarding this election? I don't really care that he's worth more than most third-world countries. I don't really care what his opinion is regarding any election, let alone the presidential election. Trump had his 15 minutes in the political sun. Apparently, he didn't want to stick around. The proverbial heat in the kitchen must have been a little too hot. But for some reason, some continue to ask him his opinion, as he is some sort of new political analyst whose opinion is supposed to matter. Why, oh why, oh why? It's time for "The Donald" and his opinions, to ride off into the sunset, or decide to stick around for the long haul and actually get involved.
