Birthdays
Posted Monday, November 6, 2023, at 3:05 PMYesterday was my birthday. I finished eating leftovers a few hours later from my meal at Olive Garden and completed my pet chores. Then I went to my closet to put away gifts I received and those that I purchased. I was wearing my house slippers loaded with Gold Bond powder, because my feet have been giving me trouble in recent days. ... -

Boy it's hot
Posted Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 4:02 PMBy Mary Lou Sartor It’s evening now, and chores have been set aside for another day. My swollen feet are talking to me. Some folks blame global warming for this extremely hot and humid weather pattern. It could be, but I have been around a long time. It's in His hands
Posted Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 10:49 AMBrazil Buzz By Mary Lou Sartor I mentioned to you in a previous article how much I love my beautiful violin. I wanted one ever since my maternal grandfather. John Andrew Login Siner played the instrument for me in his back yard in Hadleytown when I was a little girl. My mother told me later the German made violin was his favorite possession. She loved to hear the music that came from the talented musician and his old violin... -
A story Of Love and determination

Canadian geese and goslings lie in the road, victims of hit-and-run drivers... -

Spring, Summer and Sun Safety
Posted Monday, April 3, 2023, at 4:03 PMI hope you are protecting your skin from the sun: hat, sleeves, and, first and foremost, using good sunscreen. It is never too late to take charge, even if you never thought your skin could be damaged, and avoid precautions. Posted Monday, February 27, 2023, at 4:47 PMFebruary is nearly over and will hand the reins over to March. Storms and high winds are in the forecast here and about. I heard a few flakes of snow might be coming as well. Already I see signs of Spring 2023. The crocuses and other hardy perennials emerge from the moist ground, and the grass grows green. Squirrels and chipmunks might have dug out and feasted on the corn of the old plants earlier. Hyacinths may not be seen this year either...
