Taking action to remember

Members of families who endured child loss and their supporters joined the Clay County Parent Bereavement Support Group for the first Memorial Walk Saturday. Participants gathered at First Presbyterian Church on North Walnut Street and then walked to Craig Park for a biodegradable balloon release, before walking back to the church for a pitch in dinner. However, once gathered at the group's monument at Craig Park, many families stayed to watch the balloons lift into the sky and visit with others.
