Witnessing the history of the old west and the sport of “cowboy action shooting” is happening in Clay County, thanks to the Pine Ridge Regulators (a local Single Action Shooting Society). The group gathers every second Saturday (9 a.m.-2 p.m.) from April-October for “shooting matches” at 2375 West County Road 1500 North (Carbon area). These photos were taken at the July 10th event. The public is invited to watch the events or join in the fun. To learn more, log on to pineridgeregulators.com or their Facebook page.
