Clay City's early season struggles continued with a 50-42 defeat to Barr-Reeve on Friday evening. The Eels were close all game long. After trailing by four at the halftime break, the Eels responded by outscoring the Vikings 15-12 in the third quarter to get within one point heading into the fourth period. However, the Vikings got six fourth quarter points by Jennifer Wirtz to hold off the Eels charge by outscoring them 15-8 in the last period...
