Knights earn superior rating

Northview High School vocal students traveled to Indianapolis to participate in the ISSMA state solo and ensemble competition. The Knight Singers received a Division 1 Superior rating in the large ensemble event, singing a capella "Ride the Chariot." Receiving Division 1 Superior ratings on their vocal solos were Kyle Knauer with "Trade Winds," Jackie Schroeder with "O Rest in the Lord," Jana Stearley with "American Lullaby" and Ashlee Vitz with "Lovely Are Thy Dwellings." Schuyler Brinson also received a Division 1 Superior rating for his piano solo of three Mendelson pieces. ...
