The Edward Jones team won the Clay County Girls' Coach Pitch Softball tournament Saturday at Northview High School. The team went undefeated throughout the season and through the tournament. Three-and-a half-year-old Isabella Brown patiently waits for the Dragon Wagon to start so that she can enjoy a fun-filled ride at Forest Park during the Rotary Club's 68th Annual celebration. Park tree to be cut down

POLAND -- Twelve adults, one little boy and his big, tan and white, fluffy cat showed up at the Clay County Parks Board meeting last night at the shelter in Poland Park. The meeting was quick but efficient as the board voted to have Jim Skelton cut down a tree near the Poland Park parking lot this fall for $500. They also moved to fix some of the wooden playground equipment at the Center Point Park and signed vouchers to pay the monthly bills...
