Town of Carbon ready for Covered Bridge Festival (10/08/03)

The wild turkey seen charging at and chasing after vehicles on Kennedy's Crossing Road will chase no more. Northview High School student, Jason Vanatti, reported yesterday that he saw the bird lying on the side of the road. The turkey had become like a pet to many in the area. Some residents even fed it.
