Popcorn Festival plans change (01/20/04)
The second Clay County Popcorn Festival will build upon the first one, held last fall in Brazil. The 2004 festival is planned Oct.1-3. A laser light show has been scheduled this year. Getting ready for the big move (01/20/04)
Sgt. David Bomgardner, of Paris, Ill., was preparing for active duty at the Brazil National Guard Armory yesterday. The 38th Main Support Battalion, Company B, will leave for Camp Atterbury no later than Jan. 26. A send off ceremony for the troops is scheduled today from 2-4 p.m. at the Clay County Courthouse.
