Rotary celebration begins (06/28/04)
The Brazil Rotary Club kicked off its annual Fourth of July Carnival Saturday with a ribbon cutting. The carnival features a $10,000 grand prize drawing, which will be held at 11 p.m. on the Fourth, plus many nightly prize drawings. Nightly winners are also eligible for the $10,000 drawing. ...

The Clay County Community Foundation held a golf scramble Saturday at the Forest Park Golf Course. The fund-raiser will help the foundation continue its philanthropic work in Clay County. CCCF is a vehicle for giving to the community. Greencastle native Marlee Rose takes some practice laps Saturday at the Forest Park Go-kart track in preparation for the Sunday race.
