Brazil man held on robbery charges (07/28/04)
A Brazil man was arrested earlier this month in connection with an armed robbery at Martinsville. David Turner, 20, was charged with assisting in a robbery and resisting law enforcement. Even as the 4-H Fair continues this week, leaders look forward to the future. Funding is always important and 4-H Council President Jim Stevenson is looking for new fundraising activities. On Saturday at 6 p.m., the Clay County 4-H will host a demolition derby. Tickets cost $6 admission and $15 for pit passes. People must be ages 16 and older to enter the pits. Musician to be honored by city (07/28/04)
After the first of the year, Penn Street will become Boone Dunbar Drive if all goes as planned. He will be honored for his accomplishments as a musician and as a citizen of Brazil.
