The Clay City Eels improved to 7-3 on Thursday night with a 48-31 victory over Shakamak. Returning from five consecutive games on the road, the Eels halted a two-game losing streak with the win over the Lakers. Junior Whitney McWilliams had 12 of her 22 points in the first half as Clay City jumped out to a 26-14 advantage. Murder investigation leads to vehicles

While Indiana State Police Det. Tony Guinn confirmed Thursday that a vehicle connected to the Toni Dickison murder investigation had been impounded at Plainfield, he also revealed it is not the first. "It is in connection to this case," said Guinn, who joins Clay County Sheriff's Dept. Deputy Mike Heaton as lead investigator. Teen charged after windows were shot out
