Larry G. Brown Sr., 64, of Linton, died at 6:37 a.m. on April 29, 2005 at Deaconess Hospice Care in Evansville, Ind. A Parke County law enforcement official confirmed Friday that Jesse Payne, 34, is the "person of interest" the Sheriff's Department is questioning. Payne was arrested after fire consumed the Bridgeton Covered Bridge. No charges have been filed against anyone at this time...

A resolution recently considered by the Brazil City Council regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages at gas stations and convenience stores will not limit or otherwise regulate their sale in local stores.
