Izma Lynn Shaughnessy Underwood, age 89, of Knightsville, passed away Saturday morning at the Cloverleaf Health Care, in Knightsville, IN. Born April 10, 1916, in Reelsville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Ralph and Florence (Job) Herbert. On Nov. 19, 1933 she married George Shaughnessy and he preceded her in death on January 10, 1970. In 1972 she married Walter Underwood and he preceded her in death on November 9, 1977. She was a homemaker and housewife...

Restaurant to be rebuilt

Patrons of McDonald's restaurant on National Avenue in Brazil were greeted by locked doors Saturday. The restaurant is a popular gathering place for senior citizens. The owners plan to demolish the current building and rebuild in the same location. It is not known exactly how long it will be until the restaurant re-opens...
