Mabel Kidwell, age 93, of Brazil, died at 1:10 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2005, at Regional Hosital in Terre Haute, IN. Mabel was born October 18, 1911, in Vigo County, Indiana, as the daughter of Ira and Clara Richter Kidwell. Following graduation from Brazil High School she began her long and successful working career in the field of decorating and paints; earning a national reputation for her technical knowledge of paint. ...

Ruth M. Wise, 90, of Avon, Ind., passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 3, 2005, in her home. She was a former resident of Terre Haute, Ind. She was born November 13, 1914, in DuQuion, Ill. Her parents were Everette and Lottie Brayfield. She married Robert Wise August 14, 1937, and they resided in the Terre Haute area for 65 years. They were married for 67 years...
