Red Ribbon Winner (12/03/05)
Ivy Herron photo On Nov. 22, Red Ribbon Day Coordinator Rhonda Alstott presented Cornerstone 5th grader Abby Parker with her First Place certificate for her winning entry in the Red Ribbon Day Poster Contest. Parker designed a poster about how people could avoid destructive decisions that might forever change their lives. Her winning poster will be turned into a local billboard within a few weeks. Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 4 a.m. Sunday (12/03/05)
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for much of central Indiana until 4 a.m. Sunday. The advisory states the Clay County area could receive 1-2 inches of snow overnight tonight. Areas north of here may get as much as 4 inches of snow and areas south of Clay County may get freezing rain...
