Employees at the Burger King south of Brazil called for help around 7:30 a.m. Monday as smoke started to fill the building. Jackson Township and Posey Township volunteer fire departments responded to the scene, but were unable to find a fire. Scanner traffic indicated there was a ventilation problem instead. Top: Two Clay County farmers revert to the old days. John Mace, 83, rides on a 1915 John Deere Light-Running Binder Tuesday during a demonstration of a horse drawn wheat binder. Owner of the binder and John's brother, Vincent Mace, 69, walks beside the machine to help control the horses. The haflinger horses, Beth, Bell, Duke and Deck, are being trained to use the equipment.
