I'm Rob Gambill and I am the Democratic Candidate for Sheriff. I've spent the last 17 years learning the lessons necessary to be a good Clay County Sheriff, and I would like to be your next Sheriff. I began my career with the Clay County Sheriff's Department in September of 1989 as a Jail Officer and worked my way up from there to the position of Deputy Sheriff on January 1, 1992, in 1996 I became the Training Officer for the Sheriff's Department, in 1997 I was promoted to the rank of Patrol Sergeant, and in October of 2004 I took on my current assignment as Detective Sergeant in charge of drug investigations. ...
