Council approves annexation of land into Brazil (10/10/07)
The City of Brazil has now become larger. The Common Council of the City of Brazil approved two ordinances at Tuesday night's meeting, which allows for the annexation of approximately 29 acres of land into the corporate limits of the city and, at the same time, rezoning this area from residential to general business. The land, which is owned by Gasway Insurance Unlimited, Inc., sits along U.S. 40 and Water Works Road (County Road 200 West)...
