City upgrading sections of plumbing system

The City of Brazil is improving some of its plumbing problems. Contractors have been working at the Lift Station of the Wastewater Treatment Plant for approximately four weeks to upgrade part of its pumping system. "We had been having a lot of problems with the bypass/overflow system," Wastewater Supervisor Ron Hayes told The Brazil Times. "The system would overflow even with just two or three inches of rain and that presents a problem because it can cause things to back up into the city."...
