County prepping for latest property tax sale (09/01/10)
County officials are preparing for another tax sale. Clay County Deputy Auditor Erica Stallcop told The Brazil Times 383 parcels were on the initial list to be sold, but there have been a few who have reconciled their delinquent taxes since then. "Right now, there are still 304 parcels slated to be in the sale," Stallcop said Tuesday. "In total, the delinquent taxes owed on those properties add up to $288,481.60."...
