There they were, flying in the air, resting on the side of the barn, and even landing on my shoulder. To help support a special project in the spring, Popcorn Festival Board President Evelyn Brown presented a $500 donation to Brazil City Parks Board President Ruth Ann Jefferies Thursday. Jefferies said the park board relies upon donations from local businesses and charities to implement special projects other than regular maintenance at the city parks.
