Straw poll, election results similar

Prior to the Nov. 2, midterm election, The Brazil Times conducted three online, non-scientific straw polls. Based on percentages from those straw polls, it appears Clay County voters were fairly accurate in choosing who won the Tuesday elections. For example, in the race for United States Senator, Republican Dan Coats won all three straw polls by a wide margin. He received 51.3 percent of the vote in the final straw poll compared to 38.5 percent for Democrat Brad Ellsworth...
