Times Staff Report SPENCER -- North Clay split a pair of road games against Owen Valley on Tuesday evening as the eighth-grade posted a 36-20 victory and the seventh-grade fell by a 20-2 score. I am not liking this weather. Standing water is everywhere and still waiting for a place to go. The low place in the neighbor's field is having difficulty accepting such an abundance of precipitation. This morning, while out and about taking care of outside chores, my ears picked up a welcomed sound. A pair of wild Canadian geese were at the water's edge.
