Board tables bus garage purchase (12/13/11)
Clay Community Schools (CCS) board members expected to purchase the Williams property to serve as the new CCS bus garage during Thursday evening's meeting, but decided instead to table the issue. "As all of you know, we were going to purchase the property contingent on the title, a survey and a Phase I Environmental Report," CCS Superintendent Kim Tucker told those in attendance. The House of Hope is finally back in business. The program was cleared by the state to open its doors Monday, Dec. 12. Originally, the House of Hope found out it needed upgrades due to a visit from officials with the state fire marshal office.
