Brazil City Council passes ordinances, resolution (12/16/11)
The Brazil City Council passed two ordinances and a resolution at its monthly meeting Wednesday. Ordinance No. 20-2011 authorizes the purchase of a blanket bond/crime insurance policy for certain elected officials. The ordinance states, "The fiscal body of the city may, by ordinance, authorize the purchase of a blanket bond or a crime insurance policy endorsed to include faithful performance to cover the faithful performance of all employees, commission members and persons acting on behalf of the local government unit, including the city clerk-treasurer.". ...
