I-70 accident results in injuries (05/15/12)
Tuesday evening, off-duty Indiana State Police Trooper Brent Robinson was traveling westbound on Interstate 70 near the 22-mile marker and came upon a three-vehicle crash involving a passenger car and two tractor-trailer combinations. The crash resulted in critical injuries to the driver of the passenger car and no injuries to either tractor-trailer driver. Trooper Robinson provided medical attention until arrival of firefighters and paramedics...
Balloon Launch! (05/15/12)
In honor of National Nursing Home Week (NNHW), which is May 13-18, the Exceptional Living Center of Brazil had a balloon launch for its residents and staff. The theme for this year is "Celebrating the Journey." Mayor Brian Wyndham briefly spoke with the residents before counting down to release the balloons. Each balloon holds a resident's name, address and phone number inside, so whoever finds the balloon has the opportunity to communicate with the residents...
