Former Northview High School baseball standout Brady Shoemaker saw action in his 20th game with the Birmingham Barons, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, on Wednesday evening. Shoemaker has compiled 66 official at-bats since his call up from the Winston-Salem Dash. Over that span, Shoemaker has hit .288 overall and has reached base 44 percent of the time as he has drawn 15 walks.
