Scholarships available for Endeavor Comm. members

Endeavor Communications will award 12 Cedric Ray Memorial scholarships for $1,000 each to graduating seniors enrolled in a college, university or trade school. Applications must be submitted by March 14. Endeavor also continues to partner with the Foundation for Rural Service, which awards 30 $2,500 scholarships and four $5,000 scholarships. The next time a water meter is pulled due to unpaid bills in the city of Brazil, it may take up to 24 hours for residents to have service restored, city officials said Wednesday. At the Brazil Board of Public Works and Safety meeting, Brazil City Water Superintendent Jake Raubach said there are cases when a meter is removed, the resident pays the bill the same day and expects service by the end of that day.
